Eve is an artist for whom travel proved a great liberator. Born in Flint Michigan the artists rejection of conventional taste was founded in an almost physical revulsion for the stultifying world of the mid West. Eve is a primitive self-taught painter, Neo expressionist in style. His palette is bold primary color but his conflicting and confrontational use of black and white is what gives his paintings their emotional punch. The artist broad life experience and lyrical subconscious infuse his paintings with historical political and sensual content.
